I spend much of my time photographing landscape, place and culture in America.
My work is rooted in stillness and patience. I’m drawn to the edge of place—the stretch of road between towns, the way light lingers over familiar ground, the moments when the present brushes up against memory and myth.
I work primarily with film, letting the road itself become part of the process. Driving is not just how I get to a photograph—it’s how I listen, look, and arrive at the photograph.
My work draws on the everyday gaze of Stephen Shore, the iconic gas stations photographed and painted by Ed Ruscha, the deep sense of place and memory in Sally Mann’s work, and the restless openness of Jack Kerouac’s Road.
Whether it’s a commission, a personal project, or an image destined for print, I approach each with the same intention: to find quiet compositions that hold presence and feeling.
